Description
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM blocked schedule with every third weekend requirement. Rotating night call coverage. Patient ratio of 1:4.
Highlights:
- Comprehensive nuclear medicine department with diverse procedural experience including SPECT imaging, cardiac stress testing, and full range of diagnostic nuclear studies
- Advanced imaging technology utilizing Siemens equipment with Epic EMR and Pyxis medication system
- 40-hour orientation program with strong interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
- Stable weekday blocked schedule with predictable weekend rotation
- Adult and pediatric patient populations across hospital and clinic settings
- No floating requirements
Requirements:
- ARRT-N (Nuclear Medicine) or CNMT certification required
- Minimum 5 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- Previous travel healthcare experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Epic charting system experience required
- Proficiency in venous blood draws, IV starts and maintenance, and handling radioactive materials
- Experience with gastric emptying, HIDA scans, MUGA scans, bone scans, myocardial imaging, and SPECT procedures
- North Carolina license or compact state license
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Preferred: Previous charge experience and Trauma Level I or II experience
