Description
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Location: Pennsylvania
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week assignment; Every other weekend and every other holiday required; No on-call responsibilities; 12-hour orientation provided
Highlights:
- Dual specialty assignment combining Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department experience
- Work with advanced respiratory equipment including Hamilton G5, PB 980, Respironics V60, Optiflow, Lumis TX, Cough Assist, Vest, and IPV
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Exposure to diverse patient populations across the lifespan, from neonates to geriatrics
- Support from interdisciplinary teams including Respiratory Services and Rapid Response Teams
- First-time travelers welcome with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
Requirements:
- Active Pennsylvania state license required at time of submission
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (required); NRP and PALS (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Adult Critical Care experience required
- Emergency Department experience required
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- Proficiency with specialized equipment including ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, high-flow oxygen systems, and airway management
- Competency in arterial blood gas interpretation and collection
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Pennsylvania fingerprints and background clearances required
- Valid professional references
