Description

American Traveler is hiring a Respiratory Care Practitioner for a night shift position requiring 2 years of Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department experience along with RRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

Details

• Hospital-based Respiratory Care position
• Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department work settings
• Night shift, 4x12 hours, 19:00-7:30
• 13-week assignment
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic charting system preferred
• Utilizes specialized equipment including Hamilton G5, PB 980, Respironics V60, Optiflow, Lumis TX, Cough Assist, Vest, and IPV

Requirements

• Active State RN license or PA/compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
• Required certifications: RRT, BLS, and ACLS
• Preferred certifications: NRP and PALS
• Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department experience required
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration
• PA fingerprints required and may involve travel

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory care across adult critical care and emergency department settings
• Skilled in ventilator management, airway management, and arterial blood gas interpretation
• Experience with medication delivery systems and various respiratory medications
• Dark grey scrub color required
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Local candidates within 50-mile radius accepted at a different rate
• RTO requests must be approved by the facility and submitted at time of consideration
