Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Wisconsin

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Evening and night shifts available, 12-hour and 8-hour shifts as needed (1500-0330 or 1900-0730). Weekend and holiday rotation required.

  • Epic EMR system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and specialized subspecialty services
  • Patient ratio of 4:1 across all shifts with 20 hours of orientation
  • Travel assignment with opportunity for one pre-approved time off period

Requirements:

  • Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license
  • Minimum of two years of Emergency Department experience with both adult and pediatric populations within the last three years
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Current AHA certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS required
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Must successfully pass telemetry competency exam prior to start date
  • Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I and charge experience preferred
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from facility
  • Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
