Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiovascular / Observation Unit – Iowa**Start Date:** September 8, 2026**Location:** Davenport, Iowa**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, includes Every Third Weekend (ETW) and holiday rotation (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day)

Highlights:

• Diverse cardiovascular patient population including myocardial infarctions (MI), TAVRs, Watchman procedures, CHF, peripheral vascular conditions, and cardiac arrhythmias
• Cross-trained role caring for patients in both cardiovascular and observation units
• Manage post-catheterization lab patients and short-stay cardiac admissions
• Experience with cardiac drips including amiodarone, diltiazem, heparin, nitroglycerin, plus standard antibiotics and IV therapies
• Observation unit serves adult medical patients (age 18+, excluding pregnancy over 20 weeks)
• Long-term contract with advance start date allowing for thorough planning and preparation

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Iowa or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute care nursing experience required
• Cardiovascular or telemetry nursing experience strongly preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or required upon hire
• Proficiency with cardiac monitoring and IV drip management
