Schedule:

12-hour shifts with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio. Weekend coverage required (6 weekend shifts per 6-week period). Block scheduling is approved but not required. No on-call. 36 hours of orientation provided.

• Multidisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and Interpretation Services

Requirements:

• Current RN license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience (required)
• Active certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, and TNCC
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:3
• Skills required: BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care, CVA management, isolation precautions, IV vasopressors, dysrhythmia management, and triage
• Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
