Description
Start Date: August 25, 2026
Location: Dallas, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Weekend and rotating call requirements will be discussed during the interview process. 36-40 guaranteed hours per week.
Highlights:
- High-risk, high-volume labor and delivery unit with 24 beds
- AWHONN recommended staffing ratios maintained approximately 80% of the time
- 13-week travel assignment in a busy women's hospital environment
- Experience with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C procedures, and post-delivery recovery care
- GE fetal monitoring equipment and Meditech/CPN documentation systems
- Patient ratios: cervical ripening 2:1, triage 3:1, stable postpartum mag 2:1, active labor/pitocin 1:1
Requirements:
- Current RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of high-risk labor and delivery bedside experience required
- Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certification required
- High-risk obstetrical bedside training including circulating in cesarean sections
- Experience recovering high-acuity postpartum patients
- Ability to float to antepartum unit as needed
