Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Surgery Trauma – Georgia

Start Date: September 8, 2026
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Shift-based scheduling, flexibility required; no block scheduling available

Highlights:

• High-acuity surgical trauma floor with diverse and complex patient population including surgical cases, trauma patients, and spinal cord injury patients
• 5:1 patient ratio with comprehensive support staff including nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries on night shifts
• EPIC EMR system in use across facility
• Structured handoff process with ED nurses and admitting units to ensure continuity of care
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required
• ACLS certification preferred; BLS required

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or ability to obtain
• Minimum 2 years of experience in surgical or trauma nursing
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Availability to work assigned shifts with flexibility
