Location: Wilmington, North Carolina

Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week; every other weekend required; 1:5-6 patient ratios

• Interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, and pharmacy

Requirements:

• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in the last 5 years
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Must successfully pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Proficiency in heparin drips, blood product administration, central and peripheral line management, PICC line care, IV starts, phlebotomy, and PCA management
• Experience with colostomy care, feeding tube management, chest tubes, tracheostomy management, wound care, and surgical drains
• Competence in dysrhythmia management, oxygen protocol management, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions
• Comfortable managing 1:5-6 patient ratios
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
