Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Trauma – Georgia

Start Date: September 20, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time rotating shifts as assigned; block scheduling not available. 5:1 patient ratio with nursing support techs, phlebotomists, and unit secretary support during night shifts.

Highlights:

• High-acuity medical surgical trauma floor serving a diverse and challenging patient population including surgical, trauma, gunshot wounds, and spinal cord injury patients
• Epic EMR system utilized across the facility
• Structured handoff process with ED nurses and admitting unit for continuity of care
• Minimum 2-year contract in specialty area required
• Collaborative team environment with dedicated ancillary support including nursing techs, phlebotomists, and administrative staff
• No time off requests during contract period

Requirements:

• Active and unencumbered Georgia RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in medical surgical trauma or similar high-acuity specialty
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
