Description
Start Date: September 22, 2026
Location: Dallas, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day and night shifts available, rotating weekends, 4:1 patient ratio (max 5:1), 41-bed oncology unit
Highlights:
- Specialized oncology unit caring for medical oncology patients requiring blood and electrolyte replacement therapy
- Modern unit equipped with Baxter pumps and Meditech EMR system
- Collaborative team environment with dedicated charge nurse, RN, and PCT support staff on each shift
- Consistent patient ratios with maximum 5:1 ratio to ensure quality patient care
- Opportunity to work with central lines, ports, and perform sterile dressing changes
- Contract begins September 2026 with Tuesday start date
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
- Strong understanding of sterile dressing changes and infection prevention protocols
- Solid knowledge of blood and electrolyte replacement processes and protocols
- Experience with medical oncology preferred
- Familiarity with ports and central lines strongly preferred
