Description
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week contract, Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 12-hour shifts, 4 weekend shifts per schedule, No call requiredHighlights:
- 30-bed Neuro Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit with 1:5 patient ratio
- Collaborative team environment with RNs, LVNs, and PCTs on each shift
- Meditech EMR system with modern equipment including COWs, PCA pumps, and CareView Virtual Sitter technology
- Typical procedures include stroke NIH assessments, EEGs, gastric decompression, and wound care
- Award-winning unit with multiple ICARE award winners and patient-centered recognition programs
- Navy scrubs provided, supportive onboarding with unit packet on start date
- Active RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
- Current BLS certification required
- NIH stroke scale certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Previous telemetry and medical/surgical experience required
- IV therapy experience essential
