Location: Winston Salem, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Call required 10 days per month, including one weekend per month (call hours 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM)

Highlights:

• 3-room cardiovascular surgical suite serving adult and geriatric patients (ages 20s to 90s)
• Diverse case mix including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, TAVR, robotic thoracic surgery, aortic aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy, and various thoracic procedures
• Epic electronic medical record system with PYXIS medication management
• 36-hour orientation provided; scrubs provided by facility
• 13-week contract assignment with circulating and scrub responsibilities
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and transportation

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina or Compact State RN license
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Circulating experience required; scrub experience preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Completion of pre-start online modules (8-10 hours) using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browser

Additional Information:

• Pre-approved time off available (up to 7 days, no holidays; must work 2 of 3 major holidays)

• Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as needed
