Job Opportunity – Cath Lab Technologist – Alaska

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Alaska

Schedule: 4x10 day shifts with weekend rotation; on-call requirement includes 1 shift per week and every 4th weekend; some Saturdays required as part of regular scheduled shifts

Highlights:

• Comprehensive procedural exposure including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, STEMI, structural heart procedures (TAVR, Mitral Clip, PFO), interventional radiology, electrophysiology, and neurointervention
• Advanced technology experience with IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, stroke thrombectomy, CRM device implants, and variety of atherectomy and thrombectomy devices
• Cross-training opportunities with floating to Interventional Radiology and Electrophysiology labs
• Epic charting system in a 407-bed acute care hospital setting
• Guaranteed 70 hours per 2-week period with minimal call-off risk

Requirements:

• Active ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
• Required clinical experience: Electrophysiology (EP), Interventional Radiology (IR), Vascular procedures, Monitoring, and Neuro interventions
• Valid state license or ability to obtain Alaska licensure (allow 10-12 weeks for processing)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers or declination not accepted)
• Two professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CTO procedures, peripheral interventions, venous access, and rhythm interpretation
• Familiarity with Philips X-Ray System, temporary LVAD support
• McKesson Cath Lab and MacLab/Cardio Lab for EP experience a plus
