Job Opportunity – Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Indiana

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts. Every other weekend required. Flexibility to float between NICU and Pediatric Acute Care units based on facility needs.

Highlights:

• Primary placement in Labor & Delivery with NICU or PICU assignment upon arrival
• Opportunity to work with neonates, infants, and pediatric populations in a specialized care environment
• Float assignment includes PICU and Pediatric Acute Care units
• Cerner charting system preferred
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric respiratory therapy experience required
• First-time travelers accepted

Requirements:

• Active Indiana State Respiratory Therapist License (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Current NBRC RRT certification required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• NRP certification required if placed in Labor & Delivery (can be obtained after offer)
• PALS certification preferred
• Must have Children's Hospital experience within the last 3 years, OR experience in a Level I adult trauma facility
• Minimum 2 years NICU experience required; Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred
• Education must be accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited by CHEA
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Ability to float between units as required
