Labor & Delivery RN – PennsylvaniaJob Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Pennsylvania

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Pennsylvania

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), every 3rd weekend required (Friday/Saturday rotation)

Highlights:

• High-volume, high-acuity Labor & Delivery unit serving as a regional transfer center with Level 3 NICU support
• Approximately 5,000 deliveries annually with an average of 12-15 deliveries per day
• 21 Labor & Delivery beds, 8-bed triage unit, 3 operating rooms, and 3-bay PACU on-site
• Patient ratio of 1:2 for optimal care delivery
• Epic charting system in use; scrubs provided
• 13-week assignment with no floating required and no on-call responsibilities
• Block scheduling may be considered based on operational needs
• Holiday requirement: At least 1 holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day)

Requirements:

• Valid Pennsylvania RN license or multistate compact license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and BLS (Basic Life Support)
• AWHONN Intermediate or Beginner certification required
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Experience managing patient ratios of 1:2
• Proficiency in high-risk obstetrical care, fetal monitoring, and neonatal resuscitation
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required

Additional Information:

This position requires compliance with state-specific requirements including Pennsylvania fingerprinting and background clearances.
