Job Opportunity – Ultrasound Sonographer – Texas

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Lewisville, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Multiple shift options available including day shift, evening shift, and weekend coverage. Rotating on-call shared among team of 7 sonographers (11pm-7am coverage). Standard full-time schedule with excellent work-life balance.

Highlights:

• Dual-modality role performing both general and vascular ultrasound procedures in a 196-bed acute care facility
• Modern equipment including GE Logiq e10, Parks Flo Lab, and Trophon2 high-level disinfection systems
• EMR system: Meditech with GE Centricity PACS for streamlined workflow
• Diverse case mix including abdomen, OB (first and second trimester), biophysical profiles, vascular studies, procedural guidance (biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis), pediatric, and surgical cases
• Collaborative team environment with experienced sonography staff of 800+ facility-wide
• Opportunities to expand skills across multiple ultrasound specialties including small parts, procedural, and OR cases

Requirements:

• RDMS (AB) or RDMS (OB) certification from CCI required
• RVT (VT) or RVS certification from CCI required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with vascular ultrasound is essential
• General ultrasound, pediatric, procedural, and small parts experience preferred
• OR experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills with positive, team-oriented attitude
• Dependable and reliable with excellent time management skills
