Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse – Pennsylvania

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Pennsylvania

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM; first week orientation is 5x8-hour shifts Monday-Friday; weekend on-call coverage required; 4 call shifts per 13-week contract with varying days and hours; no holiday requirement; patient ratio 1:2

Highlights:

• Comprehensive cardiac surgical experience required including CABGs, aortic and mitral valve repairs/replacements, heart transplants, dissections, and LVADs
• Vascular and thoracic surgery experience preferred including EVAR, TEVAR, TCAR, and open AAA procedures
• Must be proficient in both scrubbing and circulating roles for cardiac surgery
• Electronic medical records system: Epic
• 32-room operating room environment with potential cross-coverage to general, urology, and ENT services based on cardiac volume
• Scrubs provided; first-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience

Requirements:

• Pennsylvania state license or compact license required at time of application
• Minimum 3 years of cardiovascular operating room experience
• BLS certification required
• Demonstrated competency in scrubbing and circulating cardiac surgical procedures
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Valid professional references and current certifications
• Pennsylvania fingerprinting and background clearance required
