Description
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: North Dakota
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, including every other weekend
Highlights:- Level IV NICU accredited by the American Academy of Pediatrics with 40-bed capacity
- Care for critical and intermediate neonates with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 for critical patients, and 1:3 for growing/feeding infants
- Work with advanced equipment including conventional and high-frequency ventilators, nitric oxide, cool cap therapy, and sophisticated monitoring systems
- Epic (OneChart) electronic medical record system with comprehensive training provided
- Opportunity to work with PICC lines, umbilical lines, CPAP, and various neonatal support systems
- Float opportunities to PICU and Pediatrics units for diverse clinical experience
- Active North Dakota RN license or Compact RN license (willingness to obtain ND license required)
- Minimum 2 years of Level IV NICU nursing experience
- Current BLS certification through American Heart Association
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Demonstrated competency administering medications through PICC lines
- Ability and willingness to float to PICU and Pediatrics units
- Epic experience highly preferred
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
Join a highly specialized Level IV NICU team providing life-saving care to the most fragile neonatal patients. This Level IV verified unit offers exposure to complex cases including intubations, spinal taps, PICC line placements, and advanced ventilation therapies. With comprehensive orientation, advanced technology, and a collaborative team environment, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on newborns and their families during critical moments.
Additional Information:Orientation includes Epic system training and two days with an experienced buddy nurse to assess competency and introduce unit protocols. Professional child-friendly scrubs with role-specific colored pants required. Facility uses badge-in/badge-out system for all clinicians.
