Description
Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Fargo, North Dakota
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 8 or 12 hour shifts with varied weekend rotation; occasional nights with backup call rotation (approximately 2 weeknights per month and up to every 4th weekend)
Highlights:
- Phase I PACU experience in a large, Level 1 Trauma Center environment with 18 and 14 bay units across two floors
- Diverse patient population including all surgical specialties, adults and pediatrics (5-15 pediatric patients daily), plus ICU, Cath Lab, Endoscopy, and IR post-procedure patients
- High acuity acute care setting utilizing Epic charting, AcuDose medication dispensing, Phillips monitors, vents, and BiPap equipment
- ASPAN standard ratios of 1:1 or 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio ensuring quality patient care
- Comprehensive orientation program with dedicated buddy RN support
- Hospital-provided scrubs
Requirements:
- Active North Dakota RN license (must be submitted with application)
- Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required in an acute care/hospital setting
- Experience in large hospital environments (250+ beds) required
- Critical Care experience strongly preferred
- Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Demonstrated ability to care for high acuity patients and pediatric populations
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility
