Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Registered Nurse – South Texas**Start Date:** September 11, 2026**Location:** San Antonio, Texas**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends (4 out of 8 weekend requirement). Day shift options at 7am, 9am, and 11am; night shifts at 7pm. 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio in an 8-bed freestanding emergency department.**Highlights:**- Work in a freestanding emergency department (FSED) setting with a dedicated team of 15 staff members- Perform a variety of emergency procedures including IV placement, phlebotomy, Foley catheterization, breathing treatments, and medication administration- Utilize Meditech electronic medical record system- Minimal to no floating required; optional hours available at other facilities within 25 miles if desired- Supportive, team-based environment focused on patient-centered care- Navy blue scrubs provided**Requirements:**- Active Texas RN license or ability to obtain- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience (required)- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and CPI certifications- Meditech experience preferred- Freestanding emergency department experience strongly preferred**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This position offers the chance to work in a focused emergency care environment where you'll be part of a close-knit team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
