Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Float Pool Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3 x 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week. Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule. Flexibility required to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed.

• Travel nursing experience preferred; trauma level experience a plus

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS preferred
• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and central line management
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• Strong skills in blood product administration, wound care, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 from a manager/director or formal supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing
