Location: Houston, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4 weekend shifts within a 4-week schedule. Shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4-6 LD RNs, 1 transition nurse, 1 ORT, and 1 unit secretary on days; 1 charge nurse, 4-5 LD RNs, 1 transition nurse, and 1 ORT on nights. Patient ratio of 1:1-2.

Highlights:

• Work in a comprehensive unit featuring 9 LDR rooms, 3 operating rooms, 4-bed PACU, 4-bed OBED, and 2 antepartum beds
• Join a team of 38 dedicated healthcare professionals providing exceptional maternal care
• Utilize Meditech/CPN electronic medical record system for streamlined documentation
• Manage laboring patients and circulate for cesarean sections in a fast-paced environment
• Float to postpartum as needed to support department operations
• Professional dress code: royal blue scrubs

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Active RN license in the state of Texas or eligible for licensure
• C-EFM certification preferred
• Bilingual skills (Spanish) strongly preferred
