Job Opportunity – CT Technologist – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10-hour day shifts starting at 0800. Variable days assigned. No call required. Potential for weekend shifts based on operational needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of clinical CT imaging experience required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
• Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer (active and in good standing)
• ARRT Registry in both Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience with Epic charting system required
• Trauma Level I or Level II experience preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced CT imaging procedures utilizing state-of-the-art radiographic equipment and technology
• Prepare and set up imaging rooms according to examination requirements, including proper isolation precautions
• Administer contrast media safely, including IV starts and venipuncture as needed
• Collaborate with staff to prioritize schedules and triage routine and emergent procedures
• Participate in quality assurance programs and perform basic equipment maintenance
• Resolve technical issues related to image processing and archiving systems
• Float to other areas as needed to support operational requirements

Additional Information

This position requires flexibility to float within the department based on operational needs. Candidates must demonstrate competency in radiation safety, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurements. The role involves working with patients requiring isolation precautions and PPE, as well as managing high-acuity emergency and trauma cases.
