Description
Start Date: November 9, 2026
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Evening and night shifts, 12-hour rotations (3:00 PM - 3:30 AM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM). Includes weekends and holidays. Patient ratio of 4:1 across all shifts.

- Work in a state-of-the-art Emergency Department serving nearly 45,000 patients annually across all age groups including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Level IV Trauma Center designation with Acute Stroke Ready Center and Pediatric Ready Emergency Department certifications
- 40 exam rooms plus 19 vertical care spaces with flex capacity for high-volume periods
- Epic EMR system in use; comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services
- 20 hours of orientation provided; free onsite parking available
- Opportunity to serve on the hospital's rapid response team providing emergent assessment and intervention throughout the facility
Requirements:
- Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license required
- Minimum two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last 3 years
- Epic charting system experience required
- Current BLS, PALS, ACLS (American Heart Association only), and TNCC certifications required
- Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I Trauma experience preferred
- Previous travel experience required
- Must successfully pass telemetry examination prior to start date with strict passing criteria (80% overall, 100% on lethal rhythms)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
