Description
Start Date: November 16, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week, day shift. Weekend rotation required (4 weekend shifts per 4-week period). Floating within the facility system required. Some on-call responsibilities.

- Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit serving adult and geriatric patients with mixed medical and surgical acuities
- Primarily caring for patients with general chronic medical conditions, acute care surgery, orthopedic/trauma overflow, and PCU-level patients
- Epic charting system in use facility-wide
- First-time travelers welcome – excellent opportunity for nurses seeking travel experience
- 30-bed unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including interpretation services
- Exposure to a wide range of diagnoses and advanced skills including drip management, telemetry monitoring, chest tubes, and wound care
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience
- Epic charting system experience required
- Previous travel experience required; Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Must be comfortable floating within the organization and working in a progressive care environment
- Proficiency in key clinical skills including telemetry interpretation, central line management, blood product administration, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and management of cardiac and vasoactive drips
- Two professional references required: at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference
