# Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – TexasStart Date: October 12, 2026
Location: North Texas

Schedule: Day and night shifts available; 1–2 on-call shifts per schedule; patient ratios follow AWHONN guidelines (1:1 for active labor, Pitocin administration, cesarean delivery, and recovery; 2–3 antepartum patients)Highlights:- 18-bed Labor & Delivery unit with a collaborative team of 54+ clinical staff- Case mix includes vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, triage, antepartum care, and iron infusions- GE fetal monitoring equipment and CPN Meditech EMR system- Minimal floating requirements; primarily within Women's Services to Mother Baby as needed- Supportive, team-oriented culture focused on delivering exceptional patient outcomes- Second floor unit location with dedicated charge nurse and OB tech support on every shiftRequirements:- Active RN license (or multistate compact eligible)- Labor management experience required- Experience circulating cesarean sections required- Strong interpersonal skills and passion for maternal-child health- Team-player mentality with commitment to evidence-based practiceWhy It's a Great Opportunity:Join a welcoming, high-performing Labor & Delivery team that values kindness, collaboration, and clinical excellence.
