Description
Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Fargo, North Dakota
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts with rotating days and nights; every other weekend and every other holiday required
Highlights:
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience in a large acute care setting with 250+ beds
- 32-bed Medical Surgical unit with 4-5:1 patient ratio on days and 6:1 on nights
- Epic EMR system with modern equipment including Omnicell and Alaris IV pumps
- Rotating shift schedule designed to minimize frequent day-to-night transitions
- Float to multiple medical surgical units across three medical centers in the metro area
- Navy blue scrubs required; badge in/out system in place
Requirements:
- Active North Dakota or Compact State RN License (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1-2 years recent Medical Surgical nursing experience in a large hospital setting (250+ beds)
- Previous travel nursing experience with successful assignment completion
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- NIHSS Certification
- Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
- Neuro experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to float to all units and locations as needed
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility (reduced rate applies for candidates living 60-80 miles away)
