# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** September 11, 2026 **Location:** San Antonio, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Rotating shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a), rotating weekends (4 out of 8 weeks required), no on-call**Highlights:** - Freestanding Emergency Department setting with 9 beds and a 1:4 patient ratio- Meditech EMR system; structured day and night shift teams with dedicated charge nurses- Typical procedures include IV placement, phlebotomy, Foley catheter insertion, breathing treatments, and medication administration- Navy blue scrubs; opportunities to provide support at nearby facilities within 25 miles if desired- Contract duration: 13 weeks**Requirements:** - Active Texas RN license (or compact state license)- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and CPI certifications- Meditech experience and Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) experience strongly preferred**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** Join a collaborative, patient-focused emergency care team that values accountability, integrity, and compassionate care.
