# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Mother/Baby – Texas

Start Date: October 20, 2026

Location: Dallas, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour day shifts, 3–4 weekend shifts per schedule, no call required

Highlights:
  • Work with couplet care on a well-established 70-bed Mother/Baby unit
  • Patient ratio of 1:3 couplets (6 patients total)
  • EMR system: CPN (Cerner)
  • Collaborative team environment with charge nurses, resource nurses, admit nurses, and patient care technicians
  • Minimal floating required; occasional resource nurse role only
  • Travel assignment with Tuesday start date
Requirements:
  • Active RN license in Texas or multistate compact license
  • Mother/Baby nursing experience required
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications required
  • NICU or postpartum experience preferred
  • Experience with newborn care, lactation support, phototherapy, blood sugar monitoring, and IV antibiotics administration
