Description
Start Date: September 15, 2026
Location: Dallas, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays
Highlights:
- Level III NICU with 108 beds providing advanced critical care to the most vulnerable infants
- Patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on acuity level
- Specialized equipment including oscillators, ventilators, bubble CPAP, NIRS monitoring, warmers, and isolettes
- Documentation systems include CPN and Meditech platforms
- Collaborative unit environment staffed with RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs for comprehensive patient care
- Experience with complex cases including surgical patients, cardiac patients, preemies as early as 27 weeks, tracheostomy care, and Broviac management
Requirements:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Minimum 1 year of Level III NICU experience required
- Experience with preemies (28 weeks gestation and above)
- Proficiency in central line management
- Respiratory management skills including care of intubated patients
- Experience with nasal cannula, bubble CPAP, ventilators, oscillators, and IV pumps
- Ability to float to PICU, Pediatrics, and CICU as needed and care for patients up to 2 years of age
- Royal blue scrubs required
