Cardiac Progressive Care Registered Nurse - AlaskaJob Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Cardiac Progressive Care Unit) – Alaska

Start Date: ASAP / September 2026

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 13-week assignment, rotating weekends, 1:4 patient ratio

Highlights:

• Progressive Care Unit specializing in cardiac stepdown and telemetry monitoring
• 34-bed unit with experienced team of 60 RNs and CNAs
• Epic EMR system with advanced telemetry equipment including bedside monitors, defibrillators, Alaris pumps, and pacing boxes
• Exposure to advanced cardiac procedures including cardioversion and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
• Floating opportunities to ICU and specialty units for expanded clinical experience
• Collaborative, team-oriented environment with supportive charge nurse leadership

Requirements:

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license required for submission
• ACLS, BLS, and Advanced EKG certifications required
• Telemetry experience is mandatory
• Cardiovascular nursing background strongly preferred
• Experience with simple IV drips preferred
• Strong teamwork skills and easy-going, adaptable personality
