Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Start Date: November 16, 2026
Location: Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 1830-0700. Weekend rotation (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), every other holiday. Flexible scheduling available with 4x12 option.

• Combined adult and pediatric Emergency Department with 19 rooms and 70 daily census
• All age groups treated: neonates through geriatrics with typical ER diagnoses
• Cerner charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and radiology
• Contract lengths up to 26 weeks available for qualified candidates

• Strong focus on patient and family-centered care with BSSR, AIDET, and hourly rounding protocols

Requirements:

• Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license required
• Minimum two years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years
• Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
• Must pass telemetry competency exam prior to start date with strict passing criteria for adult and pediatric rhythm interpretation
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Experience with arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, procedural sedation, and ventilated patient care
• Proficiency in triage, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy, phlebotomy, and 12-lead EKG
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must reside 50 miles or more from facility location
