Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Long Term Care – Wisconsin

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Evening shifts, 8-hour shifts from 14:30 - 23:00, with every other weekend rotation and some holidays. 1:20 nurse-to-patient ratio with one RN per hall and med tech support per hall.

Highlights:

• Long term care facility with 66 beds and an average daily census of 60 residents
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with varied diagnoses including dementia, Alzheimer's, stroke recovery, diabetes management, and end-of-life care
• Bedside Shift Reporting (BSSR), AIDET communication framework, and hourly rounding protocols in place
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and interpretation services
• CNA support with ratios of 1:8-10 on days and 1:20 on nights
• Free onsite parking available

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state licensure
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum 1 year of long-term care (LTAC) experience required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Successful completion of telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to start date
