Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day and night shifts available; 6:1 patient ratio; requires 4 weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) per 4-week period

Highlights:

• 24-bed Medical-Surgical unit in a 343-bed acute care facility
• Collaborative team environment with dedicated charge nurse, PCTs, and unit clerk support
• Meditech EMR system
• Broad skill development including PIVs, central line management, wound care, chest tube management, and EKG
• BLS and NIHSS assessment experience
• Equipment includes Alaris IV pumps, feeding pumps, Hoyer lifts, and vein finders

Requirements:

• Active Kansas RN license or eligibility for licensure
• Prior inpatient acute care experience required
• Knowledge of basic dysrhythmias required
• BLS certification
• Trauma center experience strongly preferred
