Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 6-week scheduling blocks; 3 call shifts required per block period; Float within peri-anesthesia departments (Endoscopy/PreOp/Phase II)

Highlights:

• 40-bed Post-Anesthesia Care Unit with 1:2 patient ratio
• Comprehensive support team including Health Unit Coordinators (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) and 4 Patient Care Technicians per shift
• Standard PACU equipment with ventilator monitoring capabilities
• Electronic documentation utilizing Cerner EMR system
• PCTs trained to draw labs, perform catheterizations, and transport patients
• Exposure to trauma and pediatric patient populations

Requirements:

• Active RN license in North Carolina (or ability to obtain)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale experience required
• Ventilator monitoring experience and advanced critical care skills
• Trauma and pediatric nursing experience strongly preferred
• PACU or critical care nursing background
