Description
Minimum Requirements: 2 years of experience in the job specialty, BLS certification, and any applicable state licensure or specialty certifications required for the role.
As an RRT, also known as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Care Practitioner, or Respiratory Therapist, you will evaluate, treat, and manage patients with cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage ventilators and advanced respiratory support equipment
- Administer respiratory therapies and treatments
- Perform pulmonary assessments and diagnostic testing
- Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust care plans
- Provide emergency respiratory care in critical situations
Requirements:
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist RRT credential
- BLS certification
- ACLS and PALS certifications may be required based on facility
- Previous critical care or acute care respiratory experience preferred
