• Location: Bethel, Alaska (99559) — Bethel, AK travel nursing opportunity
• Assignment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nursing
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: February 3, 2026 – End: May 5, 2026)
• Shifts: Rotating days and nights; Med-Surg RN shifts
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed 32 hours)
• Number of Positions: 3
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2250 - $2370 (competitive travel nurse pay)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
• Graduate of an NLN-approved nursing program
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the State of Alaska
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• International nurses welcome (must have completed NCLEX, TOEFL, and Visa Screen)
• Proof of completed COVID vaccinations required

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered medical-surgical nursing care through assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Direct and coordinate nursing care for inpatients following established acute care and Med-Surg practice standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physicians, therapists, case managers) to ensure cost-effective, high-quality care
• Serve as a clinical resource to colleagues and apply age-specific, culturally sensitive care across the lifespan
• Care for post-surgical, medical, and behavioral health patients as assigned
• Conduct initial assessments and re-assessments at least every 24 hours; maintain accurate documentation
