Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,380 – $2,550
• Location: West Columbia, South Carolina (zip 29169) — serving the Columbia, SC area
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 13, 2026 – July 13, 2026)
• Shift: 5x8-hour days (06:30 – 15:00)
• Setting: Hospital – Interventional Radiology (IR) Unit with 3 IR suites
• On-call: Required, including some weekends
• Travel Contract: Must live at least 50 miles from facility (travel radiologic technologist role)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience; Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required (2 years preferred)
• ARRT (R) certification required; Vascular Interventional (VI) credential preferred but not required
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• SC state license or Compact Radiologic Technologist license required
• Competency with Philips Azurion and Siemens imaging platforms; Sonosite Ultrasound for arterial/venous access
• Hands-on experience with IR procedures including stroke thrombectomy, embolization, kyphoplasty, fistulagram, arteriogram/angiography with intervention, venogram with intervention, dialysis access, venous access, Y90, chest port placement, nephrostomy tube placement, PTC, g-tube placement, and TIPS
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Locals not accepted; first-time travel technologists welcome

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of interventional radiology procedures and vascular interventions in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Operate and maintain Philips and Siemens angiography/fluoroscopy platforms and Sonosite ultrasound equipment
• Provide arterial and venous access, assist with angiography, thrombectomy, embolization, and other IR procedures
• Float to hybrid OR as needed and support complex vascular and hybrid operating room cases
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Radiology, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage as required
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to adult and geriatric populations
