• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,320 – $1,420

• Setting: Acute Care Hospital – 437 beds (hospital respiratory therapist)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (March 2, 2026 – June 1, 2026)
• Shift: 12 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36

Job Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential (active)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital RRT experience (critical care/ICU experience preferred)
• Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred
• Trauma experience preferred; comfort with high-acuity and fast-paced environments
• Strong communication, teamwork skills, and ability to collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care, treatment, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiency, COPD, asthma, pneumonia, and other pulmonary conditions
• Perform approximately 44–46 respiratory procedures per shift (ventilator management, airway management, oxygen therapy)
• Operate and manage ventilators and devices including Servo I, Hamilton, V60, Astral CPAP/BiPAP systems
• Obtain and analyze ABGs, perform CPT, and deliver evidence-based pulmonary care
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR and adhere to hospital policies and compliance standards
• Demonstrate clinical judgment, critical thinking, and an active, disciplined approach to patient care
