Job Details

  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,320 – $1,420
  • Location: Miami, FL 33133 (Travel Respiratory Therapist role)
  • Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Employment Type: Travel / Contract
  • Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • Minimum 1 year recent hospital-based respiratory therapy experience
  • Critical care experience, including ventilator management and arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis
  • Familiarity with Meditech documentation system and Rapidcom for ABGs
  • Ability to float within hospital units as needed

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality respiratory care to acute and critical care patients in a hospital setting
  • Manage mechanical ventilators, titrate support, and perform ventilator checks
  • Obtain and analyze arterial blood gases (ABGs) and document results
  • Document patient care accurately using Meditech and Rapidcom
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Contribute to unit teamwork and a positive patient experience
