• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,220 – $2,340 (Travel RN pay)
• Location: Camden, ME 04843 — Midcoast Maine nursing jobs
• Assignment Length: 12 weeks (April 2, 2026 – June 25, 2026)
• Setting: Long-Term Care (LTC) / Skilled Nursing Facility
• Unit: Respected long-term care facility
• Shift: 8-hour Evenings (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) — Evening RN / LTC nurse role
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Travel (Travel Nurse / Travel RN)

Travel RN Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Maine or compact state eligibility (Maine RN license required)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or sub-acute settings
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Experience with medication administration, care planning, and resident assessments
• Ability to work evening shifts, manage a fast-paced LTC environment, and adapt to changing resident needs
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical documentation skills

Responsibilities — Long-Term Care Nurse / Travel RN

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care/skilled nursing setting
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately; monitor resident responses
• Conduct ongoing assessments and document resident condition and care in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (nursing, therapy, social work, providers) to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Support residents and families with communication, education, and discharge or transition planning as needed
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, infection control, and compliance with facility policies and state regulations
