Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine or a valid compact state RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in long-term care, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or similar setting
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ability to manage multiple residents and prioritize patient-centered care in a fast-paced LTC environment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care / SNF setting
• Administer medications, treatments, and wound care per provider orders and facility protocols
• Perform resident assessments, monitor clinical status, and document changes in the medical record
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other clinical staff
• Educate residents and families on care plans, medication management, and health maintenance
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state and federal regulations, and best practices for long-term care nursing
