Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 17, 2026 – August 15, 2026)
• Role: Travel Registered Nurse / Telemetry RN (hospital RN, telemetry nurse)
• Setting: Med/Surg Ortho/Neuro Unit (Phippen 6/7, 32 beds)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 hours (guaranteed)
• Employment Type: Travel nursing job (travel nurse, contract RN)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience with demonstrated neuro assessment and telemetry competency (Telemetry RN experience preferred)
• Proven ability to interpret telemetry strips and document findings accurately
• Current Massachusetts RN license (compact license holders, check state eligibility)
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred (electronic charting / hospital EMR experience)
• Willingness to float to applicable units as needed (flexible hospital RN, cross-cover experience helpful)

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to orthopedic, neuro/surgical, and medical overflow patients as a Telemetry RN
• Perform focused neuro assessments and ongoing telemetry monitoring
• Interpret and document telemetry strips; communicate findings to the interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain patient safety, follow unit protocols, and escalate changes in condition promptly
• Float to other units within the facility as requested to support patient care needs
• Utilize EPIC for charting, medication administration, and documentation (EMR-driven workflows)
