• Start Date: April 27, 2026
• End Date: July 27, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shifts: 3x12-hour rotating shifts per week (Day: 7:00am–7:30pm / Night: 7:00pm–7:30am; rotation may be required)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250–$2,370 (competitive travel nursing pay)
• Hours per Week: 36

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required (Med/Surg nursing, telemetry nurse experience)
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand at time of submission (Registered Nurse, RN)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA or American Red Cross), and NIHSS
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty required
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (cardiac telemetry skills required)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must be able to work at least every other holiday during the contract
• Background check and fingerprinting required prior to start

Responsibilities – Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit (telemetry nurse, Med/Surg RN duties)
• Continuously monitor and accurately interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely following hospital protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists) to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR documentation experience)
• Participate in orientation, ongoing education, competency assessments, and mandatory training
• Float to similar units as needed to meet hospital staffing needs (flexible Med/Surg/Telemetry assignments)
