Job Details

• Position Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN – Cath Lab Registered Nurse
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,870 - $3,020
• Location: Salem, MA 01970 – North Shore / Boston area (Massachusetts nursing jobs)
• Facility: 400+ bed hospital with 220 Med-Surg beds, ICU, Maternity, and more
• Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab (2 rooms supporting PCI, Impella, balloon pump, device implants, ablations)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: May 3, 2026 – End: August 1, 2026)
• Shift: 4x10 hour days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
• On-Call: 7 on-call nights per month (includes one weekend and 4 additional nights)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Cath Lab / EP Lab RN experience with interventional cardiac and scrub experience
• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• AHA ACLS certification required
• Experience caring for adult cardiac patient population (pre/post procedure and critical care)
• Familiarity with EPIC (Cupid) EMR for documentation
• Strong teamwork, critical thinking, and emergency response skills for on-call rotations

Responsibilities

• Provide expert peri-procedural nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab (PCI, Impella, balloon pump, device implants, ablations)
• Scrub and circulate during interventional procedures as needed
• Perform patient assessment, monitoring, and post-procedure care to ensure optimal outcomes
• Respond to emergent cases as part of on-call rotations and rapid response teams
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, EP physicians, techs, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC (Cupid) EMR
