- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,220 - $1,310 (Travel Respiratory Therapist pay)
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:00) — travel RT night shift
- Hours per Week: 36
- Setting: Hospital – Level II Trauma Center (Bradenton, FL)
- Unit: Respiratory / Critical Care
- Bed Capacity: 383
- Start Date: April 8, 2026
- End Date: July 8, 2026
Job Requirements — Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- NRP or STABLE certification
- At least 1 year of recent hospital experience (ICU/critical care experience preferred)
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system (preferred)
Key Responsibilities — Travel Respiratory Therapist
- Provide comprehensive respiratory therapy services to patients across the hospital respiratory unit and critical care areas
- Operate and manage ventilators and respiratory equipment including Servo I, GE ventilators, V60, Airvo, and Vapotherm
- Perform standard respiratory procedures and interventions as required by the unit (mechanical ventilation support, airway management, oxygen therapy)
- Monitor patient response, interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs), and adjust therapy in collaboration with the care team
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a Level II Trauma Center
- Work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech EMR
