Travel CT/X-Ray Technologist – Pittsfield, MA (13-week)

Travel CT/X-Ray Technologist – Pittsfield, MA (13-week). ARRT (CT) and Massachusetts Radiology License required. Join a hospital radiology team in the Berkshires for a travel healthcare assignment in diagnostic imaging and CT services.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,510 - $2,700
• Location: Pittsfield, MA 01201 (Berkshire County, Massachusetts)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: Varied 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday (1:00pm–9:30pm and/or 3:00pm–11:30pm; must be available for either shift as needed)
• On Call: Possible
• Weekend/Holiday: May be required as needed
• Non-Billable Orientation: 8 hours (an 8-hour orientation is required and is not billable)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current CT experience (Computed Tomography)
• ARRT (CT) Certification
• Active Massachusetts Radiology License
• American Heart Association BLS Certification
• X-Ray (DR/CR) experience required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Ability to function independently and proficiently in a high-stress, work-intensive hospital environment
• Must have own vehicle
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility (travel assignment requirement)
• Work history, skills checklist (Computed Tomography, current to 1 year), and 1 supervisory signed reference (from within the past two years) required

Preferred Skills & Certifications

• Experience with PACS, HIS, and RIS systems
• IV insertion and contrast administration for CT exams
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, Tiger Text)
• Prior travel radiology or hospital-based diagnostic imaging experience

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of technical CT and X-Ray procedures using independent judgment and critical thinking as a CT technologist / radiologic technologist
• Apply appropriate imaging skills to facilitate accurate diagnosis in diagnostic imaging and CT
• Provide patient-centered care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies; maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT scanners and PACS applications; demonstrate proper operation of PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems
• Perform primary diagnostic radiology and CT scan tasks including IV insertion and IV contrast injections as required
• Practice infection control in compliance with hospital policies and OSHA standards
• May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, Operations Manager, or Facility Director; supervise or instruct department personnel as directed
• Complete annual mandatory education (bloodborne pathogens, infection control, body substance isolation) and maintain required department competencies
