Travel Nurse Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200 - $2,320
• Location: Dunkirk, NY 14048 (Lake Erie / Western New York)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start on or before 05/11/2026, End 08/08/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: 3 nights one week, 4 nights the next (every other weekend required)
• Average Hours Per Week: 36-48
• Employment Type: Travel Contract — Travel RN / Travel Nurse Supervisor opportunity

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent RN experience required — experience in acute care or hospital nursing preferred
• Epic EMR experience within the last year (nonnegotiable) — Epic proficiency required for clinical documentation and leadership
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must meet facility/state requirements)
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications (facility can assist with obtaining if needed)
• Ability to travel and work within a 50-mile radius of Dunkirk, NY (exceptions considered)
• Strong clinical decision-making, delegation, and staff supervision skills — nursing leadership experience a plus

Responsibilities / Clinical Leadership Duties

• Supervise and support nursing staff during night shifts as the House Supervisor and clinical leader
• Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure safe patient flow
• Respond to emergencies, provide clinical guidance, and support bedside nurses in critical situations
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and quality standards
• Oversee staffing, triage, and resource allocation during night operations
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment and mentor nursing staff
