Description

Nurse Supervisor

Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Acute - Nursing
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: Associate Director of Nursing in General Pediatrics, PICU, NICU
Hours: 7 hours/day, 37.5 hours/week


Job Summary

  • Plan and develop programs to improve patient care and employee performance.
  • Monitor patient care performance and assess units alongside nurse managers.
  • Communicate and assist with corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop record-keeping systems to document medication errors and counseling.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience working with pediatric patients.
  • Experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
  • Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
  • Proven supervisory experience in nursing roles.
